Small Warsaw University Hotel, located in close proximity to the beautiful and historic Łazienki Park. Some of the rooms have no private bathroom.

Single room: PLN 71,00 - breakfast included, no bathroom.

Hotel "Sokrates"
ul. Smyczkowa 9, Warszawa
Warsaw University Hotel - recently equipped; out--of-the-way but with good transportation to the town and conference centre. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Prices:
Single room: PLN 70,00 - breakfast included.
Double room: PLN 110,00 - breakfast included.

from Central Railway Station: Tram lines 19 or 33, direction: Wyścigi, tram-stop: Al. Lotników;
from the airport: taxi suggested.

Meals

The National Library restaurant is available for lunches; the cost is approximately 17 PLN (4,5 EUR) per person (not included in the conference fee). A variety of other places for a quick lunch or dinner can be found in the city centre and near your hotels.

 

Visa requirements

Consult the Polish Embassy or General Consulate in your country about visa requirements concerning travellers to Poland. At present no visa is required from citizens of the EU, North America, and most countries of Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan for visits to Poland lasting up to 90 days. Most hotels, stores and restaurants accept Visa, MasterCard or Eurocard. It is advisable, however, to carry some Polish zloty. There is easy access to ATMs in Warsaw. In addition, all banks offer exchange services. Exchange offices can also be found in bigger hotels, at the airport and in the city centre.

There will be a parking lot available for those of you who arrive by car. Please reserve it in advance.
